- Require additional space, securement, or specialized assistance

- Bariatric wheelchair securement when applicable

- Safe loading, transport, and unloading procedures.

Caregiver-Accompanied Transportation Service
This service includes:
- Transportation to and from medical appointments
- Assistance entering and exiting the vehicle
- Accompaniment into medical facilities
- Guidance and standby assistance to safely access restroom facilities when needed
- Waiting with the client during appointments when scheduled
- Assistance with check-in, navigation, and appointment flow
- Gathering and relaying appointment instructions to family or authorized contacts
- Support with the safe return home
- This service does not include in-home personal care, hands-on toileting care, lifting, transfers, or medical services
- Clients must be ready for transport at the scheduled pickup time
- Caregiver-accompanied transportation must be requested at least 72 hours in advance
- This is a private-pay service and is priced separately from standard
transportation
If additional in-home care is needed before or after an appointment, information about our sister company, A Caring Touch for Seniors, can be provided upon request. Home care services are separate and require their own assessment and agreement.
