Meet Charity Burnside
A Caring Touch Transportation was founded by Charity Burnside, a lifelong caregiver whose passion for serving others began at a young age and has shaped every part of her professional journey.
Charity became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at just 17 years old, beginning her career in skilled nursing facilities, where she spent the majority of her early years caring for seniors and medically complex individuals. She later gained experience working in hospital settings, supporting patients across a variety of care needs, before transitioning into in-home care, where she built deep, long-term relationships with clients and families. Through years of hands-on work across nursing homes, hospitals, and private homes, Charity developed a deep understanding of what quality care truly looks like—not just clinically, but emotionally and practically.
As the founder of A Caring Touch For Seniors, Charity built a trusted home-care agency rooted in compassion and quality service. As her clients’ needs grew, she recognized a critical gap: reliable, respectful transportation that treats people like family—not numbers. Too often, transportation felt rushed, impersonal, or disconnected from the needs of seniors and individuals with medical conditions. Charity knew it could—and should—be done better. That vision led to the creation of A Caring Touch Transportation
